Matthew Galindo, a junior at Savanna High in California, won the Division 3 boys varsity blue race at the 74th Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational Presented by Nike in Walnut, Calif. Galindo covered the 2.93-mile course in 15:51, helping Savanna place 12th overall with 268 points.
