Matthew Galindo, a senior at Savanna High in California, placed second in the Division 3-4-5 boys varsity individual sweepstakes race by covering the 2.93-mile layout in 14:58 at the 75th Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational Presented by Nike in Walnut, Calif. Galindo helped Savanna finish 11th as a team with 280 points.
